PM Modi Wishes Kharge a Speedy Recovery After Procedure
Mallikarjun Kharge, the leader of the Congress party, had a pacemaker put in to help his heart beat regularly.
He was admitted to the hospital and had the procedure.
His son said he is doing well after the surgery.
Prime Minister Modi spoke with Kharge and wished him a quick recovery.
Kharge is expected to return to work around October 3rd, including an upcoming visit to Nagaland on October 7th.
Mallikarjun Kharge, Congress President, had a pacemaker implanted.
The procedure took place at MS Ramaiah Hospital in Bengaluru.
