Backyard Sports Animated Series in Development

Playground Productions is making an animated series called 'Backyard Sports: The Animated Series'.

It will have 20 episodes, each 11 minutes long.

The series is based on the popular video game 'Backyard Baseball', which has been loved by kids and adults since 1997.

The voice cast includes famous actors like Tiffany Haddish and Donald Faison.

The series is being developed independently from major studios.

The company also hinted at more content to come, including a 'Backyardiverse' that will connect sports, storytelling, and culture.

The series aims to bring the beloved characters into new forms of storytelling, expanding the Backyard universe.
