LeBron James' 1,297-Game Scoring Streak Ends
LeBron James, who has been scoring at least 10 points in every NBA game for a very long time, finally had a game where he didn't.
He played against the Toronto Raptors and only scored 8 points, ending his incredible streak of 1,297 games.
But even though his scoring streak ended, he still helped his team win by making a great pass to a teammate who scored a 3-pointer at the last second.
LeBron didn't seem too upset about the streak ending because he knew it was the right play to make to help his team win.
This streak had been going on for 18 years, making it the longest in NBA history.
LeBron said, 'None.
We won,' when asked about the streak ending, showing that he cares more about his team's success than his personal achievements.
LeBron James' 1,297-game double-digit scoring streak ended with 8 points against the Toronto Raptors.
The Los Angeles Lakers won the game 123-120 despite James' low scoring.
James made a clutch assist to Rui Hachimura for the game-winning 3-pointer.
He was aware the streak was in jeopardy but prioritized the team's success.
This was the first time in his career that James scored fewer than 10 points in a game.
