WhatsApp Rolls Out Bill Payments Across India for Everyday Bills
WhatsApp is adding a way for people in India to pay bills inside the app.
Users start by tapping the rupee symbol at the top of WhatsApp's home screen.
They choose the type of bill and the company they need to pay.

People can then pay with UPI, a debit card or a credit card.
The service supports electricity, gas, water, FASTag, insurance, credit card and loan payments.
Users can save billers, see past or upcoming payments, and manage several accounts with one provider.
The feature is being introduced gradually and will reach Android and iPhone users over the coming weeks.
