Ishan Uday Scholarship 2025 Now Open for Northeast Students
The government is giving out scholarships to help students from the Northeast of India pay for college.
This is called the UGC Ishan Uday Scholarship.
If you live in one of the Northeastern states and your family doesn't make a lot of money, you might be able to get ₹8,000 each month to help with your studies.
To apply, you need to have finished high school in the Northeast and be accepted into a full-time undergraduate program.
Applications must be submitted through the National Scholarship Portal by October 31.
The UGC Ishan Uday Scholarship 2025 for Northeast students is now open.
10,000 scholarships are awarded annually to students from economically weaker sections.
Selected students will receive ₹8,000 per month for 10 months.
Applications are open via scholarships.gov.in (NSP) until October 31.
Eligibility includes graduating from a recognized Northeastern school and enrolling in a full-time undergraduate program.
