Manipur CM Calls for Community Unity to Protect State Integrity

Manipur’s chief minister said communities must work together to protect the state.

He said talking with one another is important for peace and development.

He thanked Naga and Kuki communities for helping buses and other public vehicles travel on National Highway-2.

This cooperation was described as a step toward returning to normal life.

The comments came after some houses were burned in Taphou village.

The people responsible for the burning were not identified in the report.

Local lawmakers and district officials asked communities not to disrupt travel.

The chief minister also praised the Excise Department for collecting money for the state government.
