The Batadrava Cultural Project, costing Rs 227 crore, is located in Nagaon district, the birthplace of Vaishnava saint Srimanta Sankardeva. The Jyoti Bishnu Cultural Complex, costing Rs 291 crore, is the largest auditorium in the Northeast with a seating capacity of 5,000.
Shah vowed to remove all infiltrators from Assam if the BJP is voted back to power, criticizing the Congress party for encouraging infiltrators through the IMDT Act.
In West Bengal, Shah assured the Matua community that their voting rights would be preserved and criticized the TMC government led by Mamata Banerjee for allowing infiltration and corruption. He also accused the TMC government of blocking central government schemes for political reasons.
