Congress opposes plan to replace Rythu Bazaar with Flower Market

In a city called Vijayawada, farmers sell fresh vegetables at a special market called a Rythu Bazaar.

The state government decided to move that market somewhere else and put a flower market in its place.

A political group called Congress thinks this is a bad idea.

They say farmers, street vendors and small traders will be hurt.

They also say the market was built with public money, so it should not be torn down.

Congress leaders worry that the new flower market location will make traffic very busy.

They also fear that about 250 street vendors near Lenin Centre might be told to leave.

Congress wants the government to think again about this decision.

They say the flower market should be built outside the city and the vegetable market should stay where it is.
