South Calcutta Law College Vice-Principal Resigns Amidst Controversy

The vice-principal of South Calcutta Law College, Nayna Chatterji, has resigned.

She faced accusations from students and guardians after a student was allegedly gang-raped.

People blamed her for not making the campus safe.

There were also claims that she didn't install CCTV cameras and that she admitted students who did not meet admission requirements.

Chatterji, however, cited 'persistent pressure' and 'limited cooperation' as reasons for resigning.

Her resignation will be discussed in a meeting on September 18.
