SpaceX launches 14th Starship flight toward first orbit

SpaceX launched its Starship rocket on its 14th flight.

The company hopes Starship will reach Earth’s orbit for the first time.

The flight may also release 26 new Starlink V3 satellites.

These satellites are designed to carry much more data than earlier versions.

Starship sits on top of a powerful booster called Super Heavy.

SpaceX wants both parts of the system to be reusable.

The rocket could eventually carry people and supplies to orbit, the Moon, and Mars.

During this test, the booster is expected to land in the Gulf of Mexico instead of being caught.

The launch is part of SpaceX’s effort to change how space travel works.
