Andhra Pradesh Launches Quantum Science Initiatives
The Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, Chandrababu Naidu, has started a big program to teach people about quantum science, which is a very advanced type of technology.
He also announced a huge prize of Rs 100 crore for the first person from Andhra Pradesh to win a Nobel Prize in this field.
Over 50,000 students and young professionals, including many women, have already signed up for this program.
The government is partnering with international organizations to run this program and plans to build its own quantum computers in the next two years.
The goal is to make Amaravati a leading place for this new technology, just like how Hyderabad became a big center for IT many years ago.
This initiative shows Andhra Pradesh's ambition to be at the forefront of the next technology revolution.
