New Mothers Stranded in Jagtial Due to Amma Vodi Vehicle Delays
In Jagtial, some new mothers and their families had to wait a long time for special government cars called Amma Vodi to take them home after leaving the hospital.
These cars were supposed to be free, but they didn't come on time.
Some families got tired of waiting and had to pay for their own ride home.
The hospital said they have seven of these cars, but sometimes they get busy and can't take everyone right away.
One mother had to wait longer because she lived far away, but she was eventually taken home.
New mothers were stranded at MCH Hospital in Jagtial due to the unavailability of Amma Vodi vehicles.
Families waited for over two hours in the cold before opting for private transport.
The hospital has seven Amma Vodi vehicles, which are supposed to take discharged mothers home starting from 12 pm.
