AP CM Announces Tribal Teacher Job Reservation
The government is planning to give tribal people all the teacher jobs in certain areas.
The tribal community is happy about this.
They want the government to make a special rule for this.
Also, they want a coffee factory to be built in the place where coffee is grown.
This would help them because many farmers have started growing coffee instead of rice.
Adivasi communities welcomed the Chief Minister's announcement of 100% teacher job reservation in agency areas.
Leaders submitted a memorandum requesting the CM to issue a special GO for tribal job reservations.
The CM responded positively, promising to address legal hurdles and implement the reservation.
The Joint Action Committee expressed concern over the proposed location of a coffee processing unit.
The JAC wants the GCC to locate the coffee unit in the Araku region.
