Shah Highlights Indian Tradition at Events

Amit Shah, the Union Home Minister, attended two important events in Haridwar, Uttarakhand.

The first was the Shatabdi Samaroh 2026, which celebrated the 100th anniversary of Param Vandaniya Mata Bhagwati Devi Sharma and the Akhand Jyoti, a flame that has been burning continuously for over a century.

Shah praised Indian tradition and culture, saying they offer solutions to the world's problems.

He also highlighted the contributions of Shriram Sharma and Chinmay Pandya in promoting these traditions.

The second event was the inauguration of the Patanjali Emergency and Critical Care Hospital, which combines traditional Indian wellness practices with modern medical care.

Baba Ramdev and Acharya Balkrishna spoke about the hospital's focus on holistic treatments and its integrative approach to healthcare.

The hospital offers a wide range of therapies, including Yoga, Ayurveda, naturopathy, and panchakarma.

The Patanjali Yogpeeth Wellness Centre and Patanjali University were also mentioned for their roles in promoting natural healing and education in traditional medicine.
