UP Government to Invest in Road Expansion Projects
The government in Uttar Pradesh is spending a lot of money, over 6000 crore rupees, to build new roads, roads that go around cities, and roads that go over or under other roads.
They are planning to build 62 of these new roads, focusing on places where lots of people live and where there is a lot of traffic.
This is to make it easier for everyone to get around and to help with traffic jams.
If a place is already connected to big highways, someone else will build these roads.
The Uttar Pradesh government will invest Rs 6,124 crore in road infrastructure.
The Public Works Department (PWD) has prepared a blueprint for 62 projects.
Priority will be given to areas with high traffic and population.
The initiative aims to improve connectivity and traffic management.
