Telangana Employees, Teachers and Pensioners Protest Over Pending Demands
Government employees, teachers and retired workers in Telangana held protests on Thursday.
They gathered in Hyderabad and at district offices across the state.
They want new pay scales through the Second Pay Revision Commission.
They also want six delayed Dearness Allowance payments.
The groups are asking for the Old Pension Scheme to return.
They want the Contributory Pension Scheme to be ended.
Their leaders said they had already made many requests to the government.
They warned that more protests could happen if their demands remain unresolved.
