Chief Minister to Attend Two Alipurduar Wildlife Programmes
Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari is expected to visit Alipurduar twice for wildlife programmes.
The first event will happen at Jaldapara National Park on World Rhino Day.
Seized animal body parts will also be destroyed to warn poachers.
The second event will take place at Buxa Tiger Reserve.
A tigress from Bihar will be chosen from four candidates for the move.
She will travel by road to Buxa.
At first, she will live in a special enclosure so she can become familiar with the area.
Experts will later decide whether she is ready to enter the forest.
