Noida Airport Waterlogging After Heavy Rain Sparks Corruption Allegations

Noida Airport Waterlogging After Heavy Rain Sparks Corruption Allegations

A big new airport got very wet after lots of heavy rain fell.

Water covered the ground where people walk between the main building and the parking lot.

People took videos of the water and shared them on the internet.

The state government said airport workers cleaned up the water very quickly, within 30 minutes.

It said everything was fine and that the airport could still operate normally.

But a political leader named Akhilesh Yadav was not happy.

He said the water problem is a sign of 'mega-corruption' in places ruled by the BJP party.

This airport is brand new — it opened for flights in June of this year.

It is supposed to start flying to other countries in October.

On a very rainy day, this new airport showed that even big buildings can have trouble with water.
