Indian Automakers Report Strong Sales Growth in 2025
In 2025, many big car companies in India sold a lot more cars and trucks.
Maruti Suzuki, the biggest carmaker, sent a record number of cars to other countries and sold more cars in India.
Other companies like Hyundai, Mahindra, Tata Motors, and Toyota also sold more cars.
The companies are happy because more people around the world want Indian cars, and some new rules made it easier to buy and sell cars.
Maruti Suzuki thinks the car market will grow even more in 2026 because people have more money to spend and the rules are helping.
Maruti Suzuki exported a record 3.95 lakh vehicles in 2025 and wholesales grew 18.44 lakh units in 2025.
Force Motors reported a 49% rise in domestic wholesales in December 2025, with 2,952 units sold.
