Global Writers Discuss Identity and Literature

A special event called 'The Global Writer: Navigating Local Identity and Universal Themes' was held at the Embassy of the Czech Republic.

It was organized by Oxford Bookstore and EUNIC.

Many famous authors, translators, and publishers from Europe and India came together to talk about how their backgrounds and cultures influence their writing.

They also discussed how translation helps connect readers across different languages and how technology is changing the way people read and write stories.

The event was part of a bigger celebration called The Long Night of LiteratureS 2025, which included authors from 14 European countries.

Oxford Bookstore, known for its love of books and literature, hosted this event to bring people together to celebrate the written word.
