TTD Enhances Safety with AI and Breath Analysers
The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) gave 20 breath analysers to the Tirupati police to help keep the roads safe.
These machines will check if drivers are drunk, especially on the busy roads leading to Tirumala where many people go to visit the temple.
The police said they will use these machines to stop drunk driving and punish people who break the rules.
The TTD and police both care about keeping the pilgrims safe, so they will keep working together to make the roads better.
Additionally, the TTD is using an AI-based system to manage crowds during the Vaikunta Dwara Darshan.
This system will help monitor queue lines, assess crowd density, and estimate waiting time to ensure a smoother darshan experience for devotees.
The TTD has also made arrangements for annaprasadam, drinking water, and other essential facilities for the pilgrims.
TTD donated 20 breath analysers worth ₹8 lakh to Tirupati police for road safety.
The devices will be used to curb drunken driving on Tirumala ghat roads.
Four analysers will be deployed in Tirumala, four in Alipiri, and 12 in Tirupati.
Police warned of strict legal action against drunk drivers, including vehicle seizure.
TTD and police emphasized their commitment to ensuring the safety of pilgrims.
An AI-based system will be deployed to monitor queue lines, assess crowd density, and estimate waiting time during the Vaikunta Dwara Darshan.
Out of 182 hours of darshan time, 164 hours (90%) will be reserved for sarva (free) darshan.
23.64 lakh registrations received through the e-dip system, with 1.89 lakh tokens allotted.
Adequate arrangements made for annaprasadam, drinking water, and other essential facilities for pilgrims.
