Ukraine's New Long-Range Weapons: A Game-Changer
Ukraine has made new, powerful tools to fight back against Russia.
These tools are like special flying machines and missiles that can reach very far.
One called the 'Long Neptune' can fly over 600 miles, and another, the 'Flamingo,' can fly over 1,800 miles!
Other tools like 'Lyutyi' and 'FP-1' can also fly very far.
Ukraine is making many of these new weapons to protect itself and hit targets in Russia.
Ukraine has developed several new long-range weapons since the 2022 invasion.
The 'Long Neptune' missile has a range of up to 1,000 km and was used to strike Novorossiysk.
The 'Flamingo' missile has a range of 3,000 km and is expected to enter mass production by the end of the year.
Drones like 'Lyutyi,' 'FP-1,' and 'Palianytsia' have ranges exceeding 1,000 km and 650 km respectively, used for deep strikes.
Other new 'drone missiles' like 'Ruta,' 'Peklo,' and 'Bars' have ranges from over 250 km to around 700 km, with some recently entering service.
