Crime Branch Says Accused Used ChatGPT for Fake PMO Documents

Police in Mumbai are investigating a case involving a fake Prime Minister’s Office identity card.

The accused is 24-year-old Rohan Premal Parekh.

Police say he showed the card to security guards at Jio World Plaza on September 7.

The Crime Branch says Parekh admitted making similar documents with ChatGPT since 2025.

Police say he wanted to appear more important to other people and his family.

Another accused, Dilip Rajaram Kunde, allegedly acted as Parekh’s bodyguard.

Police also allege Kunde used a firearm while providing security commercially.

Parekh and Kunde have been sent to judicial custody, but the allegations have not yet been established in court.
