Rain Halts India’s Charge as Sri Lanka Reach 265/8

India scored 503 runs before declaring its innings.

Sri Lanka then began batting in the second and final Test.

By the end of Day 3, Sri Lanka had scored 265 runs while losing eight wickets.

This left Sri Lanka 238 runs behind India.

Sonal Dinusha played a strong innings and was still batting on 85.

Pasindu Sooriyabandara also helped Sri Lanka with 80 runs.

India’s Prasidh Krishna and Manav Suthar took three wickets each.

Rain stopped the match early, so Sri Lanka will continue batting later.
