Stephen Colbert Announces Final Date for CBS's Late Show
Stephen Colbert, the host of The Late Show on CBS, has announced that his show will end on May 21, 2025.
The show has been running for 33 years, and CBS decided to cancel it because it's becoming harder to make money from late-night TV.
Colbert said he will miss the people and the theater where the show is filmed.
He also mentioned that he won't be replaced, and this is the end of The Late Show on CBS.
The decision comes as more people watch shorter clips online instead of traditional TV shows, which affects advertising revenue.
Stephen Colbert announced the final date for The Late Show on CBS as May 21, 2025.
The show's cancellation is due to financial challenges in the late-night TV landscape.
Colbert expressed that he will miss the audience and the Ed Sullivan Theater the most.
The decision is not related to the show's performance or content but is purely financial.
The cancellation has sparked discussions about the future of other late-night talk shows.
