Muhammad Waseem Named Player of the Month After Historic Win
Muhammad Waseem, the captain of the UAE cricket team, won the ICC Men’s Player of the Month award for May 2025.
This is his second time winning the award.
He won it because he played very well in a cricket series against Bangladesh.
He scored a lot of runs, including a quick 82 runs in one game, helping his team win for the first time ever against Bangladesh.
The UAE team ended up winning the whole series.
Waseem says his team is getting better and wants to do well in big international cricket events.
Muhammad Waseem won the ICC Men’s Player of the Month for May 2025.
The award recognizes his performance in the T20I series against Bangladesh.
Waseem scored 145 runs in the T20I series.
UAE secured its first-ever series win against Bangladesh.
Waseem previously won the award in April 2024.
