Ex-DRDO Chief, Wife Among Pilgrims Stranded After Nepal Floods

Severe flash floods hit parts of Nepal on Wednesday morning.

Many homes, bridges and villages were swept away.

Former DRDO chief Satheesh Reddy and his wife were traveling with other pilgrims when the floods happened.

They are among 31 people who said they are safe.

The group is now in Tibet’s Saga County.

They hope to return to India through Tibet and China, but the border must reopen first.

Hundreds of Indians and many other people are still missing.

India has sent food, medicines and other emergency supplies to help Nepal.
