Leopard Captured in Nashik's Chandshi, Second in 24 Hours
Imagine a city called Nashik where a wild animal, a leopard, has been seen more often lately.
On Sunday, people working to keep everyone safe, called the Forest Department, caught one of these leopards in a special cage.
This is the second leopard they've caught in just two days!
The leopard they caught is a girl, about three years old, and she has been taken to a special center to be looked after.
The Forest Department says more leopards have been appearing near the city, like in other neighborhoods called Vadner and Chehdi.
They are asking everyone to be careful, especially at night, and to tell them or the police if they see anything unusual.
They want to make sure both the people and the animals stay safe.
A female leopard, approximately 3 years old, was captured on Sunday morning in Chandshi, Nashik.
This is the second leopard captured in the Nashik city area within a 24-hour period.
The leopard was found in a cage installed by the Forest Department in the Rokade Mala area.
The captured leopard has been transferred to the Wildlife Treatment Centre in Mhasrul.
