Iranian Uprising: Bloodshed and Global Inaction

Iranian Uprising: Bloodshed and Global Inaction

There's a big protest happening in Iran where people are asking for more freedom.

The government is responding very harshly, with many people getting hurt or killed.

The exiled crown prince, Reza Pahlavi, is speaking out against the regime's leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, accusing him of crimes against the Iranian people.

He says the regime will be held accountable, just like the Nazis were after World War II.

The author, Navid Kermani, is also writing to support the protesters and is upset that other countries aren't doing enough to help.

He's proud of the bravery shown by the people in Iran but is also worried about their safety.

The regime, however, blames foreign agents for the violence and sees foreign interference as a threat.

The situation is very tense, and the protesters are being urged to keep fighting for what they believe in.
