CBI to Probe 2017 Hotel Manager Death Case
A young hotel manager named Arnav Duggal was found dead in his apartment in Delhi in 2017.
The police first thought he had committed suicide, but his mother believed it was murder.
She went to court, and the judge agreed that the police did not investigate properly.
The judge then asked the CBI, a special police agency, to look into the case again.
The CBI will now investigate whether it was murder and also check if the police made any mistakes in their initial investigation.
The court wants the CBI to finish their work quickly and share their findings.
CBI to investigate the death of Arnav Duggal, initially assumed to be suicide by local police.
Delhi High Court transferred the case to CBI citing lapses in police investigation.
