Juspay Technologies Achieves Profitability in FY25 with Record Revenue Growth
Juspay is a company that helps other businesses handle online payments.
This past year, they made a lot of money and started making a profit again after losing money last year.
Their income went up a lot because more people are using online payments, and they are processing way more transactions every day.
They also signed up big new customers from different countries and opened offices around the world.
Even though some other big payment companies stopped working with them because Juspay got a new license, Juspay says it did not hurt their business.
They believe they are successful because they focus on providing the technology that helps payments work smoothly for everyone.
They plan to keep growing by investing in new technologies like artificial intelligence and better ways to make payments secure.
Juspay Technologies achieved a net profit of ₹115 crore (before tax and exceptional items) in FY25, a significant turnaround from a ₹97.5 crore loss in the previous fiscal year.
The company reported its highest-ever revenue of ₹514 crore in FY25, marking a 61% increase from FY24, driven by increased digital transaction volumes and geographic expansion.
Daily transaction volumes surged by 71% to over 300 million in FY25, with annualized Total Payment Volume (TPV) jumping from $400 billion to $1 trillion.
Growth was fueled by onboarding new global clients including Agoda, Amadeus, HSBC, Tiket, and Zurich Insurance, and expanding its international presence with new offices in the US, Europe, Asia-Pacific, and Latin America.
Juspay plans to continue its profitability trajectory in FY26 by investing in AI-driven commerce capabilities, biometric authentication, and expanding its open-source orchestration platform, Hyperswitch, with a focus on Brazil's Pix ecosystem.

Partnership Terminations
Juspay's Perspective
Juspay states that the termination of partnerships by major payment gateways like Razorpay, PhonePe, and Cashfree had no revenue impact, as Juspay operates as a pure-play technology provider and merchants control payment routing.
Payment Gateways' Actions
Several major payment gateways ended their partnerships with Juspay after Juspay obtained a Payment Aggregator license, which could indicate concerns about competition or a shift in business strategy.
