Vijayawada Railway Division Launches Swachhata Hi Seva 2026 Campaign
The Vijayawada railway division started a cleanliness campaign called Swachhata Hi Seva 2026.
Railway workers, Safai Mitras and other people took a pledge to keep railway places clean.
The campaign teaches people to separate waste into four types.
These types are wet, dry, sanitary and special-care waste.
School students visited railway facilities to see how cleaning and waste management work.
They also learned about coach washing and bio-toilets.
Railway manager Mohit Sonakiya said everyone must help keep stations, trains and public spaces clean.
More awareness activities will continue during the campaign.
