Randeep Hooda Wins First National Film Award as Director

Randeep Hooda won a National Film Award for directing his first film.

The film is called Swatantrya Veer Savarkar.

President Droupadi Murmu gave him the award at a ceremony on Tuesday.

Hooda said he felt very happy because he has worked as an actor for 25 years.

He called the award a big pat on the back.

He said acting is still his first love.

He also wants to direct more films in the future.

Hooda said he has already written two scripts.

He also said the birth of his daughter brought him good luck this year.
