Khajuraho Food Poisoning: 3 Dead, 2 Critical
Eleven staff members at a resort in Khajuraho, Madhya Pradesh, got very sick after eating lunch.
Three of them died, and two are still very sick and on machines to help them breathe.
The others are getting treatment in a hospital.
The police and health department are investigating.
They took food, water, and kitchen cleanliness samples to find out what made them sick.
The government is giving money to the families of those who died.
The incident happened while the staff was having lunch.
Eleven staff members of Gautam Resort in Khajuraho fell ill after eating lunch, with three deaths and two on ventilators.
Symptoms included dizziness, nausea, stomach ache, and anxiety.
Victims were initially taken to the district hospital and later referred to Jayarogya Hospital in Gwalior.
Police and health department confiscated food, water, and kitchen cleanliness samples for testing to determine the cause.
Financial assistance of Rs 20,000 has been approved for the families of the deceased.
