Delhi Regulates VVIP Routes for BRICS Rehearsal
Delhi will practice routes for motorcades before the BRICS Summit 2026.
The practice is scheduled for September 1, 2026.
Some important roads in New Delhi will have traffic controls from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
Buses, taxis, and auto-rickshaws may need to use different routes.
The Delhi Metro will keep running normally.
People are being asked to use public transport and leave extra time for travel.
Ambulances and other emergency vehicles will be allowed to move first.
Drivers should follow police instructions and avoid parking near controlled roads.

Restrictions will cover corridors including Sardar Patel Marg, Mathura Road, Janpath, Ashoka Road, and Africa Avenue Road.
Delhi Metro services will operate normally across all stations during the rehearsal.
Buses, taxis, auto-rickshaws, and non-destined commercial vehicles may face diversions or entry restrictions.
