Saini Attacks Congress After Black-Clad MLAs Protest in Haryana

Congress lawmakers in Haryana wore black clothes to protest during the state Assembly session.

They raised concerns about young people, sanitation workers, alleged scams and other issues.

Bhupinder Singh Hooda led the lawmakers in a march to the Vidhan Sabha.

Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini criticized the protest.

He said the earlier Congress government had delayed pension payments for older people.

Saini also said people once had to wait several days for cooking-gas cylinders.

He argued that his government had improved welfare services and respected beneficiaries.

The government also transferred more than Rs 1,890 crore to over 50 lakh people through welfare payments.
