Uttarakhand Launches Winter Tourism Initiatives
Uttarakhand is planning new fun activities to attract tourists during the winter.
They want to offer tours to see snow leopards, similar to what is done in Ladakh.
They also plan to start heli-skiing, like in Manali and Gulmarg, and a car rally in the hills.
The government wants to make Uttarakhand a popular place to visit all year round.
They will also have winter festivals, yoga events, and develop some rivers and holy places.
All these plans aim to create more jobs and bring in more tourists.
Uttarakhand plans to launch snow leopard sighting tours, heli-skiing, and a Himalayan Car Rally to boost winter tourism.
The initiatives are directed by Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami and will be organized by KMVN and GMVN.
Snow leopard tours will be introduced in Gangotri National Park, and adventure sports will be organized in Auli, Khaliya Top, and Bedni Dhar.
