Telangana Governor Launches Breast Cancer Awareness Program
Imagine a program teaching people about breast cancer, like a class!
The Governor of Telangana started one at a place called Brahma Kumaris.
They talked about how many women get breast cancer in India every year.
A doctor explained that it's super important to find it early.
He said women should check their breasts and get special X-rays called mammograms.
They also mentioned a person who beat breast cancer, and how important it is for women to stay healthy for their families.
Telangana Governor inaugurated a Breast Cancer awareness program at Brahma Kumaris HQ.
The program, titled "ABCs of Breast Cancer," aimed to educate women about the disease.
Dr. Raghu Ram discussed the high incidence of breast cancer in India and the importance of early detection.
He emphasized the need for women to be breast aware and undergo regular mammograms.
The event also celebrated the Guinness World Records achieved by the Ushalakshmi Breast Cancer Foundation.
