Dharmendra Accidentally Fired Real Bullet Past Amitabh Bachchan on Sholay Set
Imagine a very old, famous action movie called Sholay.
During a difficult scene, one actor named Dharmendra was trying to get the shot just right.
He got a little frustrated because it wasn't working.
He used a real gun, but he didn't realize it had real bullets in it!
When he fired it, the bullet whizzed right past his co-star Amitabh Bachchan's ear.
Luckily, nobody was hurt, but it was a very close call and a scary moment on set.
The movie itself is about two friends hired to catch a bad guy.
During the filming of the climax scene for the 1975 film Sholay, Dharmendra accidentally fired a real bullet.
The bullet reportedly went past the ear of his co-star Amitabh Bachchan.
Amitabh Bachchan recalled the incident on an episode of Kaun Banega Crorepati in 2020.
Bachchan explained that Dharmendra was frustrated with not getting the correct shot and accidentally fired the gun, which was loaded with real bullets.
