Gurgaon Excise Seizes Illicit Foreign Liquor Worth Rs 10 Crore
The Haryana Excise Department found a lot of illegal foreign liquor in a shop in Gurgaon.
The shop was next to a popular club called Ebowla.
The liquor was worth about Rs 10 crore and didn't have the right stamps to show it was legal.
The shop owner, Surender Singh, is missing.
The police took the liquor and will investigate further.
The club says they don't run the shop and don't know much about it.
The excise department thinks the liquor might have come from Chandigarh.
Haryana Excise Department seized 3,921 cases and 176 loose bottles of illicit foreign liquor worth Rs 8-10 crore from a licensed wine shop in Gurgaon.
The liquor lacked mandatory holograms and track-and-trace strips, indicating it was illegal.
