Explurger Expands NiVU AI Travel Companion Across India
Explurger has created NiVU, an AI helper for people visiting tourist places.
Travelers can scan a QR code on special boards at participating destinations.
NiVU can explain what a place is, share its history and suggest things to see or do nearby.
It can also help with navigation and other travel questions.
The system supports several languages for visitors from India and other countries.
NiVU first expanded in Andhra Pradesh, then moved to Goa and Delhi.
The company says the tool should make real-world travel more interesting and informed.
It also believes travel creators can use the information to tell richer stories about destinations.
Explurger is expanding NiVU, an AI-powered travel companion, from Andhra Pradesh to Goa and Delhi.
QR-enabled NiVU boards provide destination information, historical context, local stories, recommendations and navigation.
The service supports multiple languages and is being deployed at sites including temples, museums, forts, markets and heritage landmarks.
Founder and CEO Jitin Bhatia said the technology is intended to enhance, rather than replace, human travel experiences.
Explurger presented its technology vision at the 41st IATO Annual Convention in Visakhapatnam from September 10–13, 2026.
