DakshinaChitra Exhibition Showcases Ancient Tamil Nadu's Hero Stones
Imagine ancient Tamil Nadu!
People were brave and sacrificed for their villages.
To remember them, they carved pictures on big stones called hero stones.
DakshinaChitra has an exhibition showing these stones and their stories.
The stones show what happened, like battles or protecting cows.
Some groups find and take care of these stones.
It's like a history lesson you can touch and learn from, helping us remember the past!
DakshinaChitra hosts an exhibition on hero stones, showcasing Tamil Nadu's history.
The exhibition features hero stones that commemorate Tamil warriors' bravery and sacrifice.
The stones depict stories of war, cattle conflicts, and village protection.
Yaakkai Heritage Trust works to discover, protect, and study cultural heritage.
