India's Longest Glass Sky-Walk Bridge Opens in Vizag
A new, very long glass bridge has opened in a place called Visakhapatnam in India.
This bridge is the longest in India and is made of special strong glass that can handle very strong winds.
It is very high up, 862 feet above the ground and 1,000 feet above the sea.
The bridge is 55 meters long and cost Rs 7 crore to build.
It can hold up to 100 people at a time, but only 40 people are allowed on it at once for safety.
People can expect to pay between Rs 200 and Rs 500 to walk on this bridge and enjoy the beautiful views of the sea and the mountains.
The bridge is open during the day and in the evening, especially around sunrise and sunset.
India's longest glass sky-walk bridge, located atop Kailasagiri in Visakhapatnam, opened to the public on December 1, 2025.
The 55-meter-long cantilever glass bridge breaks the previous record held by Kerala's Vagamon Glass Bridge.
The bridge, at 862 feet above ground and 1,000 feet above sea level, was built under the supervision of the VMRDA for Rs 7 crore.
The bridge is made of three layers of 40mm tempered laminated German glass and 40 tonnes of steel, designed to withstand winds up to 250 km/h and loads of 500 kg per square meter.
Entry is restricted to 40 visitors at a time for safety and a better viewing experience, with an expected ticket price between Rs 200 and Rs 500 per person.
