Agoda Launches Impact Lab at ASEAN Forum
Agoda, a company that helps people book travel online, has started something called the Agoda Impact Lab.
This lab is like a special place where people can work together to make travel better and more sustainable in Asia.
They will teach people how to use computers to sell their hotels and other travel services, talk about new technologies like AI, and make sure that travel doesn't harm the environment.
Agoda wants to make travel easier, smarter, and more responsible for everyone.
Agoda launched the Agoda Impact Lab at the ASEAN Tourism Forum in Manila, Philippines, on January 29.
The lab aims to drive innovation and value creation in travel and technology across Asia.
It will focus on storytelling, industry upskilling, capacity building, and sustainability.
Agoda will run e-commerce training programs, AI masterclasses, and collaborate with ASEAN and WWF-Singapore on ecological and economic value of destinations.
The lab will also promote the Sustainable Tourism Academy, a digital training platform developed with the Global Sustainable Tourism Council (GSTC).
