Two Nagas killed in Manipur; Supreme Court quashes multiple FIRs

Many big news stories happened in India on the day before Independence Day.

In a state called Manipur, an armed group attacked a village named Langka and sadly killed two people from the Naga community.

A group called the Liangmai Naga Council said it believes militants from the Kuki National Front (P) were behind the attack, and asked people in its areas to stay home.

The Supreme Court decided that comedian Samay Raina and a few others can stop facing criminal proceedings because they are doing good work to help people with disabilities.

The court also closed a case against leader Rahul Gandhi for things he said about a historical figure named Savarkar.

The government said the next big population count, called Census 2027, will ask everyone about the community they belong to, which has never happened since India became independent.

Around the same time, scary emails and calls warned of bombs at the Delhi High Court, the airport, and other places in Delhi.

Officials checked the places but found no bombs, so everyone stayed safe.

These stories show how people disagree about jokes, history, and community safety, but also how the courts and police keep working to solve problems.
