Kerala Panchayat Flyer Mix-Up: Husband's Photo Allegedly Used for Wife's Campaign
Some people on the internet saw a picture of a campaign flyer from Kerala.
The flyer seemed to show a husband's picture for a woman running for office.
This made some people question how well people are educated in Kerala, since it's known for being very smart.
However, it turns out the flyer wasn't for a real election.
It was actually a poster for a movie that used a funny mix-up in the picture to get attention.
A social media post claimed a political flyer in Kerala used a husband's photo instead of his wife's.
The flyer allegedly mentioned "Vote for Sulaiman's spouse Fathima" for Chakkarakkudam Gram Panchayat, Ward 11.
The post questioned Kerala's literacy rate in response to the alleged incident.
The image circulating on social media was later identified as being from a film.
The mix-up on the flyer was part of the movie's promotional material.
