Gujarat ATS Arrests Four for Bogus Luxembourg Visas
A group of people in India are accused of tricking over 40 people by selling them fake visas that would allow them to go to Luxembourg.
The police have arrested four people involved.
These suspects promised visas for a large sum of money, but the visas were not real.
The police found out by checking with the Luxembourg embassy.
The fake visas were for business purposes, but the job offers the people used to try and get a real visa were also fake.
The police are now investigating to find anyone else who was involved.
Gujarat ATS arrested four individuals for allegedly duping over 40 people with fake Luxembourg visas.
The arrested include Tabrez Gulam Rasool Kashmiri, Mayank Jitendra Bhardwaj, Tejendra alias Kishan Gajjar, and Manish alias Kumar Hargovindbhai Patel.
The suspects allegedly charged between Rs 8 lakh to Rs 12 lakh from five individuals, promising them valid visas.
The ATS confirmed the visas were not genuine after verification with the Luxembourg Embassy in New Delhi.
An FIR was registered on August 7 at the ATS Police Station under various sections of the BNS.
