UP Amends Scholarship Rules for Transparency
The Uttar Pradesh government has changed the rules for who can get scholarships and fee help after high school.
Now, students who get into private schools through special deals with the management, last-minute spots, or any other unclear ways won't be eligible.
This change applies to all students, no matter their background.
The government wants to make sure that only students who get in fairly can receive this financial help.
UP government excludes students admitted through management quota, spot admissions, or non-transparent processes from Post-Matric Scholarship and Fee Reimbursement Scheme.
Amendments apply to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, and general category students equally.
Objective is to bring transparency to admission processes in private educational institutions.
Government aims to safeguard the interests of genuinely eligible students.
