Delhi HC Orders Takedown of Sexually Suggestive Posts
The Delhi High Court has told people to remove posts from social media that were using sexually suggestive language against Gaurav Bhatia, a spokesperson for a political party.
Bhatia had complained about the posts.
The court said that using this kind of language isn't allowed, even if it's a form of free speech.
The court is also reviewing posts that seem like jokes or satire, and hasn't stopped those yet.
The court believes that public figures should be treated differently and has given the people who made the posts a chance to respond.
The court will hear the case again on November 19.
