Anoushka Shankar-inspired art installation debuts in Mumbai
Anoushka Shankar, a famous sitar player, has a new art project called New Dawn 2.
It's inspired by her song New Dawn.
Artists Doyel Joshi and Neil Ghose Balser worked with kids from NGOs to make this art.
The art will be shown in Mumbai on January 16 and 17.
Over 100 other artworks will be for sale, and some of the money will go to help different causes.
The art is part of a bigger show called HeartWorks 2026.
Anoushka Shankar's track New Dawn inspires a participatory art installation titled New Dawn 2.
Created by Howareyoufeeling.studio in collaboration with Shankar and partner NGOs.
Children's responses to the prompt “a new dawn” are integrated into the installation.
Exhibited at IFBE, Ballard Estate, Mumbai, on January 16-17 as part of HeartWorks 2026.
Over 100 other artworks will be available for purchase, with proceeds supporting NGOs.
